Some of our Event Hosts team have been busy making waves in the fashion industry Moda at the NEC in Birmingham, and will soon be working at the prestigious Clothes Show for our client FDK Mallorca. Three days of Moda – immersed in fashion
Moda is a very exciting exhibition client to work for and our exhibition staff particularly enjoyed the event, which is publicised by the Fashion Association of Britain (FAB).
The 3 day programme included seminars on PR and marketing, identifying trends for SS16 and advice on fashion funding for new and growing brands. Exhibition staff also enjoyed catwalk shows
Moda work with an extensive range of fashion brands across a range of verticals; from footwear and swimwear to jewellery and lingerie and clothing for men, women and children. Household names featured at Moda events include Lambretta, Spanx, Viyella and Betty Barclay and the stands were full of exciting new trends.
The total spend at the 2015 Moda exhibition was a massive £12 million, so there was certainly plenty of buying power in the room and our team helped to promote and represent our client professionally and impress the buyers. The Birmingham NEC is a venue that our exhibition staff are very familiar with and particularly enjoy working at due to the calibre of events and businesses featured during exhibitions and the impressive nature of the venue itself.

The Clothes Show has always been a hotly anticipated event in the fashion calendar and we are delighted to entertain a repeat booking from FDK Mallorca, a Spanish atelier leather belt brand. FDK have been suitably impressed with the calibre of the exhibition staff from Event Hosts and the value that our team were able to add to their campaign, so have decided to work with us again and we look forward to growing our relationship with the brand.
The Clothes Show is a public event that attracts a wide female audience with many celebrities attending too, and the exhibition is also famed for attracting model scouts whom have been known to pluck members of the general public from the crowd to sign them up and elevate them to supermodel stardom a few months later.
Our team fit in extremely well at the Clothes Show, as all of our exhibition staff are aware of the latest trends and are able to alter their look accordingly whilst observing the style guide of our clients.
