Event Host’s – the highlights of 2017 and a look ahead to 2018 …

2017 has been another exciting and eventful year for us here at Event Hosts.

One that has seen our company continue to grow and take on new clients from all over the world whilst building on existing relationships with some of our very best customers.

Our corporate conference team has been busier than ever this year, helping to support a number of top blue-chip clients with meet & greet hosts, registration staff and microphone hosts.

Over the course of 2017, we have attended some very prestigious event locations across the UK in particular including Old Billingsgate, The Lancaster Hotel and Leeds United.
Our event staff have also continued to support exhibitors at some of the UK’S major exhibition centres including London Excel, Olympia, NEC, London Business Design Centre and The Ricoh Arena.

The World Travel Market:

Every year the World Travel Market brings together the biggest names from around the world of travel under one roof to discuss new innovations and trends in the industry.

This year’s World Travel Market was their most successful ever with more than 130 new exhibitors from around the world taking part in what was an electric atmosphere.

The National Wedding Show:

The National wedding show is always a spectacular occasion, one which we look forward to with great anticipation here at Event Hosts.

With exhibitions showcased by over 300 wedding specialists and a show-stopping wedding dress catwalk, the national wedding show is always one of our favourite events of the year.

Infosecurity:

Taking place at London Olympia in June this year, Infosecurity Europe played host to more than 360 exhibitors and a massive 18,000 information security professionals. This years’ theme was security at the speed of business and the event saw over 250 speakers share their expertise on this very topical theme.

Automechanika:

Last but not least, Automechanika Birmingham was one of our top highlights of 2017. This year’s show was 70% bigger than in 2016, hosting over 750 exhibitors from the automotive industry, and talks from over 60 industry experts, confirming it as the UK’s biggest automotive event.

It’s been a busy summer for our Event Hostesses so far.

This July we were both excited and privileged to have a presence at Pure’s London fashion show which featured exhilarating new collections from over 700 brands, inspirational talks and live catwalk shows over 3 jam packed days.

Event Hosts promotional models and event hostesses were all on hand to assist clients both existing and new, helping to make this year’s event an unforgettable one.

Elsewhere this summer, Event Hosts’ team of VIP Event Hostesses and promotional models had a great time supporting luxury London Mayfair Boutique Frette with their ongoing street marketing campaign.

Frette are a well established brand, specializing in quality linens and home furnishings since 1860. Our staff were all individually selected for this job for their excellent customer service skills, sales ability and customer interaction skills.

Event Hosts brand ambassadors and sampling staff have also had a busy summer this year, supporting various ‘foodie’ events across the UK including The Allergy & Free From Show, IMBIBE, The Gloucester Quays Food Festival and The Edinburgh Foodies Festival.

This month we are excited to once again be helping to host The Vaper Expo at Birmingham’s NEC. This will be the fourth installment of the show since it first began in 2015 and it is always one of our favourite events of the year.

This month we will also be helping out at Beauty UK, when the national beauty trade show returns to Birmingham’s NEC on Sunday the 21st May.

This years’ show features over 600 leading brands along with a whole range of new product & treatment innovations. The show will also be running in conjunction with the Hair UK show where you can find 1,000s of exclusive deals on offer and many principal hairdressing & barbering training providers.

The Furniture Show in January was the first outing in 2017 for Event Hosts, and saw us providing clients existing and new with a series of promotional staff, including sales assistants and hostesses.

Then the Lamma Show is an annual event catering for the farm services industry, and unveils a number of new inventive products to the industry every year. Again, Event Hosts were proud to be part of the event by supplying a number of reliable and professional event staff to help a variety of businesses connect with their customers in an effective and direct manner.

And we pride ourselves on the diverse range of events and clients in our yearly portfolio.

The notorious ICE Total Gaming event, was a great success for us this year and we even secured bookings for the event being held in 2018.
